The WFCMS invited over 200 specialists from 68 countries and 70 academic institutions of Chinese medicine to participate in the creation and development of the International Stardard Nomenclature (ISN) for Chinese medicine. Each coded entry includes Chinese characters with pinyin and English equivalents. All terms are arranged according to subject and classified into 21 categories.
