5 Lippincott Williams & Wilkins Journals Honored Among the 100 Most Influential Biology and Medical Journals of the Past 100 Years at the Special Libraries Association (SLA) Annual Meeting.

These include AJN: American Journal of Nursing, Circulation, Neurology, Anesthesia & Analgesia, and Critical Care Medicine.  Four of these titles are published with the support of important medical societies, which is critical to their value and popularity among the medical community. Circulation is published in cooperation with the American Heart Association; Neurology is the official publication of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN); Anesthesia & Analgesia is the official scientific publication of the International Anesthesia Research Society; and Critical Care Medicine is the official publication of the Society of Critical Care Medicine.

Journals in the DBIO Top 100 were determined by the votes of nearly 700 librarian members, after being nominated by an international panel of subject matter experts.
