From the National Information Center for Educational Media (NICEM), A-V Online is a comprehensive database of educational audiovisual materials for educators, market analysts, trainers, journalists, and media specialists. Media covered includes videotapes, films, audio cassettes, filmstrips, as well as coverage of motivational and recreational programming, genre classics, and independent avant-garde productions. With some records dating back as far as 1900, more than 420,000 items indexed, and approximately 20,000 changes made each year, A-V Online contains documentaries, as well as instructional, informational, and recreational programs. Materials are in English, Spanish, French, German, and 63 other languages.
