The aim of the European Journal of American Culture is to facilitate the academic study of all aspects of American culture, both modern and historical, focusing primarily on the study of newer fields of academic enquiry such as film and new media. As well as scholarly articles and book reviews that cover American cinema , music, art and other cultural forms. The journal is neither pro-American nor anti-American in its editorial direction, it looks at the global development of American culture particularly from a European perspective.
