Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology publishes original papers, reviews and editorials concerned with clinical practice and research in the fields of hepatology and gastroenterology. Papers cover the medical, radiological, pathological, biochemical, physiological and historical aspects of the subject areas under the headings Liver and Biliary, Alimentary Tract and Pancreas, Special Reports, Editorial Comments, Brief Communications and Case Reports. The Journal also deals with the basic sciences and experimental work. Case reports will be accepted only if they deal with a clinical problem that has been studied in detail and is potentially of wide interest. The Journal is the official publication of the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver and the Asian Pacific Association for Gastroenterology and is an affiliated publication of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia, the Hong Kong Society of Gastroenterology and the Thailand Gastroenterology Association.
