An invaluable resource for the latest developments in cardiology

Heart, formerly the British Heart Journal, is regarded as an important modern international clinical cardiology journal. This premier resource keeps cardiologists in touch with advances that have the most impact on the successful treatment and prevention of heart disease. It does this by selecting (with the help of its International Advisory Board and panel of reviewers) high quality original research, and by commissioning topical editorials and reviews.

As a result of scientific journals comprising an important element in postgraduate specialist continuing education, the journal gives special prominence to editorials and review articles. Each issue of Heart contains three articles of special educational interest: These have been commissioned from world leaders and will cover the whole spectrum of cardiovascular medicine. Supplements present in-depth reviews of classes of drugs, forms of treatment and the pathogenesis of disease such as atherosclerosis and cardiomyopathy.
