Export

Similar to the Email option, you may export or save Results, Articles, and Images from every place in the application. Depending on what you are trying to save, different default names and export options are available.

Journal Article

There are several format options available in exporting a Journal article which includes: HTML, PDF (where available) and Text.

PDF format is the default. Only PDF and HTML formats allow saving of inline images. OvidSP navigation elements will be specifically excluded.

The default name for a Journal Article is "OvidSP Journal Article: [Journal Name]: "[Journal Article Title]"".

Book Chapter

Exporting a Book Chapter has an assigned default name of "OvidSP Book Chapter: [Book Name]: "[Chapter title]"".

Format options include:

• HTML
• Text

The default format is HTML. Only HTML format allows saving of inline images. OvidSP navigation elements will be specifically excluded in all cases.

Search Results

Search Results take the default name of "OvidSP Search Results: [Search Statement]".

Format options available are:

• HTML
• Text

For the citations, format options include:

• APA
• Chicago
• MLA

Images

Images are defaulted to their own format.

The default name for images is "OvidSP Image: [Journal Name] / [Book Name]:"[Article Title]" / [Chapter Name]".
