OvidSP Personal Accounts: Reset Account Password 
Reset a Personal Account Password
If you forgot your password to your personal account, you may reset it from the Forgotten Personal Account Password Page. You may access this page through:

Personal Account Login Page
- Personal Account Administration Page
Click the Forgot your Personal Account password? link, and OvidSP opens the Forgotten Personal Account Password Page.
| Type either the account name OR email address (supplying both will result in an error). Click the Reset Password button.

OvidSP generates a new password, sends it to the personal account email address, and returns to the Personal Account Administration Page with a confirmation message. From there, click the “Search” tab to return to your OvidSP session. Click the Personal Account link again, and use the new information to access your personal account. You may change the password from the Modify Personal Account Page at any time.
OvidSP clears any password cookie from your computer when you submit a reset password request.
When you submit a reset password request with email address information, OvidSP resets passwords for all personal accounts associated with that email address.
