OvidSP Personal Accounts: Login 
| When your site administrator enables Personal Accounts, OvidSP displays a My Account link on the session bar. | |

Depending on your institution’s settings, you may be required to login with your personal account immediately when you access OvidSP. Or, you may only need to login to your personal account to access selected functions. Functions which require personal account login are:
- Saved Searches and Alerts
- My Projects
- Annotate items
- Retention of customized displays and settings
- Resource Groups
Once you create an account, OvidSP requires that you login to your Personal Account from your OvidSP session when you click the:

OvidSP opens the Personal Account Login Page.

Follow these steps to log in: | |

Type your account name. | |
2. |
Type your account password. | |
3. |
Click the Login button. | |
OvidSP opens the Main Search Page within your Personal Account session. |

| Click the Forgot your Personal Account password if you forgot your account name or your password to be directed to the OvidSP customer support. |
Here, you can also:
Create as many personal accounts as you need. However, you must remember all account names, passwords, and email addresses that correspond to individual personal accounts you create.
Click the Forgot your Personal Account password if you forgot your account name or your password to be directed to the OvidSP customer support.
OvidSP prompts you to log in to your personal account to open a session if your site has session recovery enabled.
