AutoAlert History Page
| OvidSP keeps a log of actions (event types) for the AutoAlert you selected, including name of the database of origin and a date-and-time log of AutoAlert activities on the AutoAlert History Page. | |
|
|
History logs apply to AutoAlerts only. History entries of the original are not carried over to the copy. However, OvidSP displays the name of the original alert in the create event of the copy. | |
Common AutoAlert event types:
- Create - date the AutoAlert was saved.
- File Format Conversion - date when the file formats of AutoAlerts were converted to updated format. For example, the create event type, file format conversion is a one-time event.
- Edit - records every instance the AutoAlert is edited.
- Suspend - records changes to the suspension status of the AutoAlert.
- Success - records successful runs of the AutoAlert, including zero results runs.
- Override - records successful runs of the AutoAlert to which a date range override has been applied.
| Occasionally, Saved Set Results links display in an AutoAlert's history. Clicking this link erases the search history of your current session and switches to the database from which the alert was created. |
