Browse Current Contents

A browse function is available by clicking the icon on the Main Search Page if your site subscribes to the Current Content databases on OvidSP.

OvidSP opens the Browse Contents Display.

Accessing the table of contents for any category in the display is available

Browsing the Journal Names Index

Click the TOC Journal Name button

OvidSP opens an index display of Current Content journal names.

	From the index display, OvidSP provides these options.
	Select check boxes of journal you want and click the Search for Selected Terms button. OvidSP posts results to your search history.
	Type a new start term and click the Go button. OvidSP jumps to that place within the journal names index.
	Click a number/letter tab to navigate to the top of the journal name index for that number/letter.
	Navigate through the index. Or, click the Browse Contents button to return to the Browse Contents Display.

 Numbers in the Postings line indicate the number of records associated with the index entry.

Browsing an Index of Book Titles

Click the TOC Book Title button, and OvidSP opens an index display of Current Content book titles.

OvidSP provides these options from the index display:
	Select or tick the corresponding check box of book titles you want and click the Search for Selected Terms button. OvidSP posts results to your search history.
	Type a new start term and click the Go button. OvidSP jumps to that place within the book titles index.
	Click a number/letter tab to navigate to the top of the book title index for that number/letter.
	Navigate forward or backward in the index. Or, click the Browse Contents button to return to the Browse Contents Display.

 Numbers in the Postings line indicate the number of records associated with the index entry.

Browsing the Current Contents Subsets Index

Click the TOC CC Subset button, and OvidSP opens an index display of Current Content subsets.

OvidSP provides these options from the index display:
	Select or tick the corresponding check box of subsets you want and click the Search for Selected Terms button. OvidSP posts results to your search history.
	Type a new start term and click the Go button. OvidSP jumps to that place within the book titles index.
	Click a number/letter tab to navigate to the top of the book title index for that number/letter.
	Navigate through the index. Or, click the Browse Contents button to return to the Browse Contents Display.

Click the TOC CC Categories button, and OvidSP opens a categories index for Current Contents.

OvidSP provides these options from the index display:
	Select the corresponding check box of categories you want and click the Search for Selected Terms button. OvidSP posts results to your search history.
	Type a new start term and click the Go button. OvidSP jumps to that place within the book titles index.
	Click a number/letter tab to navigate to the top of the book title index for that number/letter.

Browsing a Document Delivery Service Index

Click the TOC Document Delivery button, and OvidSP opens a document delivery service index for Current Contents.

OvidSP provides these options from the index display:
	Select or tick the corresponding check box of document delivery services you want and click the Search for Selected Terms button. OvidSP posts results to your search history.
	Type a new start term and click the Go button. OvidSP jumps to that place within the book titles index.
	Click a number/letter tab to navigate to the top of the book title index for that number/letter.
	Navigate through the index. Or, click the Browse Contents button to return to the Browse Contents Display.

Browsing an Index of Entry Weeks

Click the TOC Entry Week button, and OvidSP opens an entry week index for Current Contents.

OvidSP provides these options from the index display:
	Select or tick the corresponding check box of entry weeks you want and click the Search for Selected Terms button. OvidSP posts results to your search history.
	Type a new start term and click the Go button. OvidSP jumps to that place within the book titles index.
	Click a number/letter tab to navigate to the top of the book title index for that number/letter.
	Navigate through the index. Or, click the Browse Contents button to return to the Browse Contents Display.
