OvidSP provides accurate MARC21 records to Books@Ovid and Journals@Ovid customers. These records are updated when:
- New books (new titles and editions) are added
- New journals are loaded
- When a journal changes its title
- When bibliographic information for a book or serial changes
You may reach the MARC Records download page from either the Journals A-Z page or the Books@Ovid page by clicking the Download MARC Records link at the top of the page.

You have several options for selecting MARC Records for download.

Once you have selected the publications from which you want to download MARC records, click the Download Selected MARC Records button.

OvidSP opens the Save As dialogue box. Click the Save button to save the file.

Your operating system opens a Save As dialogue box. The File name: box is already populated with the MARC Records download filename assigned by OvidSP.

Again, click the Save button to save the file. The file will be saved to your local drive.

The downloaded MARC Records file is available for local processing.
Reorder the List of Publications
You may change the display order of the publications to make selection more efficient. You have two options: reorder by the last date the MARC records were updated, or reorder alphabetically. You may reorder publications in either ascending or descending order.

The black triangle indicates the active publication title order.

You may reorder records at any time.
