Purchase OvidSP Full Text

Buy Now links display in these locations of your session when OvidSP Full Text is available through PayPerView.

Search Results Display Abstract Display Complete Reference Table of Contents  If you do not see Buy Now links, OvidSP Full Text may not be available through PPV because: Your site already subscribes to it through Journals@Ovid, Your site has an OvidSP Deposit Account through which you can access it, The article full text cannot be sold individually, or Your site administrator has not enabled PayPerView.

Click a Buy Now link. OvidSP opens your PPV shopping cart.

PPV Shopping Cart

Clicking a Buy Now link in your session will open the PPV shopping cart. OvidSP will display purchase information for the Full Text selected.

Use the shopping cart to manage the OvidSP Full Text selections you make during a session.
	Returns to your OvidSP session.
	Deletes selection from your shopping cart.
	Returns to the titles display of your session.
	Completes the purchase of your OvidSP Full Text selection.

Return to your OvidSP session between selections by clicking either: the Return to Ovid link or the select additional articles for purchase link. Place as many selections as you want into your shopping cart.

	The PPV shopping cart tracks selections made during a single session. OvidSP Full Text selections cannot be opened from the shopping cart.
	OvidSP PPV sessions (including shopping cart display) time out after 60 minutes of inactivity. If this happens or if you close the PPV browser window, OvidSP deletes shopping cart selections.
	The default time out for OvidSP PPV sessions varies depending on the settings at your site. For details, contact your site administrator.

Click the Proceed to Checkout button when you have made all the selections you want. OvidSP opens the PPV Customer Login Page, requiring that you log in to your PPV account before billing information displays.

PPV Billing Information

Once you log in to your PPV account, OvidSP opens the Billing Information Page. Fill in all required information fields, then click the Continue Order button.  OvidSP masks the numbers of your credit card. The Card Security Code field provides added security and is a required field. Enter the three or four digit code from the back of your credit card.

OvidSP will display an order summary page.

PPV Order Summary

Click the Continue Order button from the billing information page. OvidSP opens the Order Summary Page.

	Returns you to your OvidSP session.
	Lets you change the billing address for the current purchase.
	Lets you change payment method.
	Completes the purchase.
	Cancels the order.
	Transactions take a few seconds to process. Do not click the Complete Order button more than once, or your credit card may be charged more than once.

Click the Complete Order button from the PayPerView Order Summary Page. OvidSP will issue a receipt for the transaction.

PPV Receipt

Click the Complete Order button from the order summary page, and OvidSP issues a receipt for your transaction.

From the receipt, you can: Print, Save, or View a copy of your purchase. Click here to learn about accessing purchased Full Text. Close your web browser window to clear credit card information from the cache, especially if you share a computer or use a public computer when purchasing OvidSP Full Text.

View Order History Page

OvidSP displays the history of all recently purchased Full Text.  OvidSP Full Text cannot be viewed from the order history display. To view purchased Full Text, click the Main tab to go to the current articles section of the My Account Page. Each entry of the order history contains the date and time of purchase. Latest purchases display at the top and are accessible for 24-hours. After 24 hours, OvidSP moves them to the Expired Articles section, which can help you avoid redundant purchases.
