The CC field is a pseudo field that lets you search in the Major Concept Codes (MJCC) and Minor Concept Codes (MNCC) fields simultaneously. The MJCC and MNCC fields contain one or more five-digit codes representing broad subject areas of the life sciences. Each code is prefaced by the letters "CC" and is followed by a text equivalent. You can search for the code or the corresponding text equivalent. Use hyphens when searching for multiword text equivalents.
