EMA Author E-mail

The EMA field contains the electronic mail address for the author or inventor. This field is for display only; it is not searchable.

Author e-mail addresses in the EMA field may be preceded by alpha assignments which provide cross-references to the Author, Editor, Inventor (AU), Author Address (AD), and Author URL (URLW) fields. This is useful for matching the author name with the appropriate contact information when several authors are listed in a record. Alpha assignments are displayed in braces, such as: {a} zmf@uwyo.edu.

Note: This field is available in data added to the database from 1998 onward.
