CAB International

 

 

VETCD includes all relevant records from the CAB ABSTRACTS database, corresponding to selections from a number of abstract journals in the CABI range.  Journals, monographs, conferences, books, annual reports, and other sources from more than 130 countries are scanned regularly, producing approximately 30,000 new records per year.  Nearly all the records have informative English abstracts prepared by a team of highly skilled scientists and linguists.  A specialised thesaurus of index terms has been developed to provide easy access to all records on the database.

The Subscriber may use the Database for research purposes only, and may not publish, reproduce, transmit, store in any information retrieval system, or otherwise make available or sell the disc or its contents, whether in hardcopy, electronically transmitted or any other form, and whether for commercial, educational or other purposes, other than for its own internal purposes or otherwise in accordance with the Subscription and License Agreement.

 

CAB International uses its best efforts to ensure that its Database contains an accurate representation or interpretation of the original material from which the Database was drawn, but neither CAB International nor SilverPlatter International N.V., or its affiliates (collectively, "SilverPlatter") shall be held responsible for any damage, claim or expense incurred by a Subscriber or user as a result of its use or reliance upon the Database.

 

NEITHER SILVERPLATTER NOR CAB INTERNATIONAL MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES AS TO MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IN CONNECTION WITH THE DATABASE, THE SEARCH AND RETRIEVAL SOFTWARE, THE GUIDE FILES, INDEXES OR SUPPORTING FILES.  BOTH SILVERPLATTER AND CAB INTERNATIONAL SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL SUCH WARRANTIES AND REPRESENTATIONS.
