SilverPlatter Guides CARB Carbonaceous Inhibition
ic50 in carb
This is one of the fields contained within the Environmental Fate superfield (ZENE). For more general information regarding Environmental Fate, see the Environmental Fate message field (ENEX).
A major biogeochemical process is the recycling of carbon via the decomposition of complex organic matter by bacteria and fungi. In nature the process is important in the cycling of elements and nutrients in ecosystems. The degradation sequence occurs in stages, cellulose -> cellobiose -> glucose -> organic acids and carbon dioxide. Chemical inhibition of microbial processes at all or any of these stages is reported in the CARB field.
