The Dictionary of Substances and their Effects (DOSE) is a guide to chemicals and their impact on humans and the environment across the globe.

DOSE brings together data on over 4100 chemicals, providing comprehensive information on mammalian and avian toxicity, occupational exposure, ecotoxicity and environmental fate. Also included are physical properties, synonyms and CAS Registry Numbers, plus many chemical structure diagrams. All information in DOSE is fully referenced.

DOSE will be constantly developing, with the inclusion of a wider range of chemicals, as well as more information on toxicology, exposure limits and environmental effects.
