This is one of the fields contained within the Substance Identifiers and Basic Chemistry superfield (ZID) which itself is associated with the Substance Identifiers and Basic Chemistry message field (ID).

The MW field has been extracted from the original molecular weight data (MX) by indexing only the integer part of the value. It is NOT displayed as part of the record and so no hits appear but you can browse the MW index and select terms from it (not PC-SPIRS).

No molecular weights are given for polymers.
