DL EDRS DOCUMENT LINK

The DL field contains the complete Internet address for the exact location where you can order the original document described in the record. Since each URL (Uniform Resource Locator) contains the document accession number, it links to the document delivery page of the EDRS (ERIC Document Reproduction Service) web site at the location where you can order the specific document. The site includes pricing information as well as instructions for ordering documents. This field is for display only; you cannot search in this field.

Note: Beginning with the 2002/09 update, EDRS Document Links display in RIE (Resources in Education) records that have an availability level of 1 (available in paper copy and microfiche) and 2 (available in microfiche only). The links are available in data added to the database from 1992 to the present.

Use the Level of Availability (LV) field to retrieve records that contain URLs. For example, the search (1 in lv) and (199406 in ud) retrieves records that have an availability level of "1" and are from the June 1994 issue of the Resources in Education index.
