SilverPlatter MEDLINE is a version of the bibliographic database of the National Library of Medicine (NLM (R)). Some material in this database is from copyrighted publications of the respective copyright claimants. Users of the database are referred to the publication data appearing in the bibliographic citations, as well as to the copyright notices appearing in the original publication, all of which are hereby incorporated by reference.

SilverPlatter MEDLINE includes such topics as microbiology, delivery of health care, nutrition, pharmacology, and environmental health. The categories covered in the database include anatomy, organisms, diseases, chemicals and drugs, techniques and equipment, psychiatry and psychology, biological sciences, physical sciences, social sciences and education, technology, agriculture, food, industry, humanities, information science and communications, and health care.

Please refer to SilverPlatter's website, www.silverplatter.com/support/medline, for all changes, retractions, and significant errata in the MEDLINE database that have been identified by the National Library of Medicine.

Organizations or institutions may download NLM-produced citations and reuse these records within their organization or institution. NLM suggest that organizations limit the number of records to 1,000 per month. NLM makes corrections and enhancements to and performs maintenance on these records once a year to ensure that they are still correct and searchable as a group.
