The DSF field enables you to limit a search to a specific subfield, or type of descriptor. Descriptors, available in the Descriptors (DE) field, are subject terms that describe the content of the original document. Each descriptor can also be a part of a subfield, which enables you to more precisely define the nature of the descriptor.
