Limit Fields

The limit fields listed below are specially indexed fields that enable you to choose from a specific set of field values. They allow you to limit your searches to records of a particular characteristic, such as test name acronym, Mental Measurements Yearbook number, or name of test reviewer.

You must search these fields with in or =. For example, to retrieve records of tests published by Macmillan, type:

macmillan in pb or pb=macmillan

In addition to in and =, the following operators may be used with the RI and YB fields:

< less than,

  such as ri<3

> greater than,

  such as yb>11

<= less than or equal to,

  such as yb<=12

>= greater than or equal to,

  such as ri>=2

- within a range,

  such as yb=10-12
