The CC field contains a four-digit code, and its description, that represent subjects in psychology. You can search for the first two digits of a code to retrieve the broad category and all subcategories beginning with those two digits or the complete four-digit code to search for more specific subclassifications. For example, the search 33 in cc retrieves the broad category "Health & Mental Health Treatment & Prevention" and all subcategories beginning with "33"; the search 3311 in cc retrieves the more specific category "Cognitive Therapy." Browsing Classification Codes

As an alternative to searching with the field label, you can browse classification codes and search for them directly from the Classification Code Field-Specific Index. This field-specific Index contains only classification codes drawn from the CC field. It lists all broad two-digit codes first, then the four-digit codes, then the same four-digit codes with complete descriptions. You must scroll to this third group of codes with descriptions if you are unfamiliar with the codes. Results of a search from this index display in the CC field.
