The REF field contains a complete or partial list of references cited in the source document. The field is available for journal, book, and book chapter records when data is present. Up to 999 references are listed. This field is for display only. Use the following fields to search for individual components contained in the REF field:

To search for author names, use the Reference Author Index (RAI)

To search for journal names, use the Reference Source Index (RSI)

To search for title keywords, use the Reference Title Index (RTI)

To search for publication years, use the Reference Year Index (RYI)
