URL Access URL

The URL field contains the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) where an online version of the document, a full-text version of the document, or additional information such as journals, are available. This field also indicates the method of access, such as: http, ftp, remote login, etc.

If desired, use the URLs, etc. (XURL) field to search for records that contain a URL or a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). For example, the search url in xurl retrieves records that contain a URL.
