Using Classification Codes

Classification Categories (found in the Classification Code (CC) field) are numeric codes that place each item in PsycINFO within certain broad areas of psychology. You can search individual categories, as in 4070 in cc or cc=4070.

Searching for the first two digits of the codes retrieves the broad category and all of the subcategories beginning with those two digits; for example, the search cc=32 would retrieve records falling into any category beginning with "32."
