SilverPlatter Guides ST Super Taxa
invertebrates in st
The ST field contains high-level taxonomic terms, taken from the ZR on CD Systematic Thesaurus, that enable retrieval of citations referring to broad categories of organisms, including microorganisms. The term for the broad animal group is listed first, followed by a colon and the systematic hierarchy of broader terms. For example, in the sentence below, "Prosobranchis" is the broad controlled animal group term and "Gastropoda-" and "Mollusca-" comprise the systematic hierarchy of broader terms.
Prosobranchia: Gastropoda-, Mollusca-
A semi-colon (;) indicates the end of a sentence when multiple descriptor sentences are present.
Use hyphens when searching multi-term names.
