Bowker's Publisher Authority Database which includes Publishers, Distributors, & Wholesalers of the U.S., is the companion database to Books In Print. The PAD file is maintained by R.R. Bowker, the ISBN Agency for the United States, and is intended to link with Books In Print records. PAD records contain detailed information about publishers, distributors, agents, imprints, and wholesalers.
