Ovid Technologies, Inc. 2004 Drug Information Full Text (DIFT) Reload News

The Drug Information Full Text (DIFT) database has been reloaded in order to transform the XML data to the Ovid format. In addition, Ovid has made the following changes to the database:

• The Primary Text field's shortcode has been changed from AB to TX. The field's functionality remains the same.
• The Additional Text (AT) field has been removed. The data is now included in the Primary Text (TX) field.
• The Descriptors (DE) field's codes have been changed from 4 digits to 2 digits. The field's functionality remains the same.
