Ovid Technologies, Inc.2007 Ovid Healthstar (HSTR) Reload News |
The Ovid Healthstar (HSTR) database has been reloaded. This reload includes the 2007 edition of MeSH® (Medical Subject Headings) from the National Library of Medicine. A complete description of the 2007 MeSH thesaurus changes are available from the NLM.
Other changes include improvements to the presentation of MeSH and Scope Note data. Previously, some references were duplicated in some scope notes. These duplications have been removed.
In addition, Ovid has made the following changes to the database:

| TI | Title | The Title (TI) field now displays two new input tags. Partial retraction in and Partial retraction of are displayed with the Title information in the same manner as the current Retraction in and Retraction of information. |

| NJ | NLM Journal Name | Some MEDLINE journal titles that contained the general material designation, within brackets, as a part of the full journal title, now have the bracketed GMD removed from the journal titles by NLM. For example, the previous value, BMC bioinformatics [electronic resource] now displays as BMC bioinformatics. |
