If you subscribe to Books@Ovid, Ovid Nursing Full Text Plus and/or Evidence Based Medicine Reviews on Ovid, Clin-eguide searches will include results from these resources in addition to Ovid MEDLINE. This integration of your Ovid resources reduces the time that clinicians spend searching across the electronic resources available to them.

Clin-eguide offers Integration with Electronic Health Records
Clin-eguide supports Infobutton requests from electronic health records and other third party applications. The following types of requests are supported:

Request disease information by ICD9-CM code
Request disease information by SNOMED CT code
Request lab test information by LOINC code
- optionally, request may include severity observation, such as high or low
Request drug information by trade or generic drug name
Request information on any topic by free text search term

Use Clin-eguide to look up
ICD9-CM Codes
Users can access industry standard International Classification of Diseases, 9th Edition, Clinical Modification (ICD9-CMŽ) Codes. Simply enter a condition name and look up its ICD9-CM code; or enter an ICD9-CM code and retrieve the name of the condition.

Include Your Own Web Content Resources
Add customized web content resources to your clinical searches on Clin-eguide. Your web resources display as an optional check box on the Clinical Search tab. Contact Ovid Technical Support for details on implementing this feature at your site.
