AutoAlerts

The Ovid AutoAlert feature is an extremely popular and widely used component of the Ovid Online system. It enables you to save a search as an AutoAlert and automatically receive updates via email whenever new articles that match your search criteria become available.

Special capabilities include:

Multifile AutoAlerts with Deduplication: Run alerts across multiple databases & remove duplicates against current & past results.
Flexible Scheduling Options: Schedule alerts to fit your needs; by database update frequency or your own selected frequency (monthly, weekly, every other week).
Suspend/Unsuspend Alerts Options: Suspend and Unsuspend delivery in accordance with vacations or sabbaticals.
Format and Output Options: Select HTML or ASCII; inline or as an attachment.
Easy-to-use screen design for managing your alerts

Real-Time Updates Via Email Ovid's AutoAlerts send email notifications to users, informing them when new results are available. AutoAlerts are highly customizable and can include a custom message, Jumpstart links to a result set, or Jumpstart links for each result. All designated members of a workgroup or project team will automatically receive the same AutoAlert email and will be able to view the AutoAlert results simultaneously. No forwarding or redirecting of emails is necessary!
