Personal Account

The Ovid Personal Account tool enables System Administrators to provide their users with a secure location in which to save and personalize search histories regardless of authentication method. In addition, Personal Account allows System Administrators to:

Securely store searches and personalized AutoAlerts for different users or groups of users
Enable employees to perform multiple searches and store them separately and securely using project identification codes
Automatically delete associated personal accounts

In addition, for users who access Ovid as part of the group validation process, assignment of an Ovid Personal Account means that those searches and AutoAlerts provided for use by the group as a whole can now be refined in the Personal Account workspace to become of greater value.
