The year may be winding down, but February 4, 2008—when Ovid Gateway is scheduled to retire—really is just around the corner. Keep in mind that the OvidSP Resource Center features important information and materials to help you and your users prepare for the transition to the new platform:

• Training – The Q1 2008 schedule is being finalized and now includes a new course on Basic Search! Our web-based courses are available in a wide variety of time zones and in multiple languages. Click here to sign up.
• Frequently Asked Questions – Two FAQ documents are available—a general FAQ and Basic Search FAQ.
• OvidSP User Guide – Also available on Ovid.com, the OvidSP User Guide is a handy, step-by-step ideal for information managers, administrators, and all types of users.
• Launch Kits – Request your OvidSP launch kit to help you get the word out about the new platform. Pens, buttons, and Quick Reference Cards are included.

Check the OvidSP Resource Center regularly for updates. And remember – you can always switch to OvidSP before February 4th!

QUOSA Information Manager™ and Ovid SearchSolver® Now OvidSP-Compatible
Both QUOSA Information Manager, a downloadable tool that allows you to organize and manage saved full-text documents on your desktop, and OvidSearchSolver®, our federated search solution, are now compatible with OvidSP. If you’d like to learn more about these products contact your Ovid Account Representative.
