New OvidSP Navigation, Customization, and Productivity
Features Coming April 6, 2010!

Dear Ovid Customer:

Beginning Tuesday, April 6th at 10:00 am EDT/14:00 GMT (click here to check your local time) you and your users will have access to the new versions of OvidSP and Nursing@Ovid. If you’re in an OvidSP or Nursing@Ovid session at the time of deployment, the session will continue uninterrupted until you log out or the session times out.

What You and Your Users Will See on April 6th
You’ll find a Try it now! button at the top of virtually every page in your OvidSP interface.

Click the button for direct access to the new version of the platform. Remember – all of your Ovid subscribed resources will be accessible in the new version as well as access to saved searches, alerts and other customized settings; users with PIN or non-shared user accounts will also have all of their customized settings and tools.  Just click the Return to previous version link at the top of your screen to move from the new version to your current implementation.

Dual Access
To help you prepare for the transition to the new OvidSP, you’ll have dual access to both your current implementation and the new version through June 30, 2010.  

Ovid Resource Center
Numerous informational materials—Frequently Asked Questions, product sheets, preview screenshots, and more—will be available in the Ovid Resource Center on April 6th to help support your user training efforts. Sign up for a Launch Kit!
