A class covering all aspects of the Basic Search in OvidSP in less than an hour. The trainer will use a series of examples to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Basic Search function, not just for beginners but also for more advanced users. The criteria used to present the results by relevancy score will be explained in detail, as well as the principles behind Natural Language Processing. After this class you will be able to run searches in Basic Search which retrieve the most relevant results to you and know why the results appear and are presented in the way they are.
