Important Enhancements to Ovid LinkSolver

Dear Ovid LinkSolver Customer:

This is the second in a series of much-anticipated enhancements to the navigation and display of Ovid LinkSolver. The first set of enhancements was to the Journals A-Z List tool and was deployed on October 7th.

Our next phase of enhancements will be deployed on November 18th, highlights include:

• Improved journal title display on the LinkSolver main page
• LinkSolver will be fully Shibboleth compliant; users will be able to access LinkSolver by authenticating via a Shibboleth federation 
  
• LinkSolver will now support access via HTTPS
  
• A new configuration option will be available that will enable users to bypass the LinkSolver intermediate page, enabling them to go directly to full text (or other link destination) with fewer clicks
  
• A new configuration option will allow administrators to control which web page users see after they log out of LinkSolver
  
• Expanded support for additional OpenURL 1.0 elements

Please note that if you are in LinkSolver during the time of deployment, you may experience brief service interruptions.
