Introduction to Nursing@Ovid

This course will give participants an overview of Nursing@Ovid - a portal-based solution for nursing and allied health practitioners, researchers, educators, and students who are looking for a single entry point to the specialized information they need to do their work.  Built on the OvidSP architecture, the course will highlight the key components and functionality of the product including:

• Our new, proprietary Ovid Nursing Subject Thesaurus and associated Nursing Lexicon which ‘speaks nurse’
• The Ovid Nursing Database
• Cross-platform searching with Ovid Universal Search™

Class duration = 1 hour. No prerequisite necessary.
