Plus! Additional Enhancements to Browse Journals
Scheduled for deployment on Wednesday, October 21st are several follow-up improvements to the August enhancements, based on feedback from the librarian community:
- When jumpstarting into Browse Journals, the Results Manager will be either open or closed, depending on the set preference
- New link behavior for specific pages such as Complete Reference, Abstract Reference, Full Text, etc.:
- Clicking View Selected generates a “keep” command, and displays ONLY the results the user has selected
- Clicking Results Display takes users to results they were previously viewing
- Clicking Current Search Results takes users back to the main search page with the focus on the results they were viewing, maintaining their selections
- Clicking Main Search Page returns users to the main search page with the focus on the search box, allowing for additional searching
