The Natural Standard Research Collaboration is neither for nor against the use of these therapies. Natural Standard addresses patient use of natural medicines by offering clinical decision support to healthcare providers. Before Natural Standard, there was inadequate centralized monitoring of quality, safety, or effectiveness, of natural products despite known side effects and interactions.
