Jennifer Abe, PhD, is a professor of psychology at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. At the present, she is living in Córdoba, Argentina, as one of the founding co-directors of LMU’s Casa de la Mateada program, working with U.S. undergraduate students in a model of education based on the Jesuit notion of a “well-educated solidarity.” She has a doctorate in clinical psychology (1992) from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she trained under Dr. Stanley Sue, with the National Research Center on Asian American Mental Health.
