Galcanezumab (Emgality) is a once-monthly injected monoclonal antibody that inhibits calcitonin gene–related peptide, a vasodilator. Galcanezumab is labeled for the treatment of cluster headache and is one of three monoclonal antibodies labeled for migraine prophylaxis in adults.
