A 45-year-old woman was sleeping in the passenger seat of a semitruck driven by her husband when she awoke suddenly, complained of excruciating chest and abdominal pain, and slumped onto the floor of the cab. The patient had been previously healthy with no pertinent past medical, social, or family history.
