† Jocelyn Handy (PhD) is a senior lecturer in the School of Psychology at Massey University. She is interested in qualitative research in organizations, organizational change, work—life balance issues, occupational stress and the psychological effects of shiftwork.
‡ Doreen Davy (MA) is a self‐employed career counsellor and management trainer based in Auckland. She is also a PhD student in the School of Psychology at Massey University and is researching the relationships between employment agencies, temporary workers and employers.
