Abstract:
In recent years, with the deeper understanding of the physical and chemical properties of sodium hyaluronate, physiological role in vivo has been more comprehensive understood. A large number of studies have shown that endogenous sodium hyaluronate can play an important role in protecting joints through a variety of mechanisms; and the role of exogenous hyaluronic acid in treating ostarthritis has been widely recognized. As the clinical studies developing, people try to introduce intra-articular sodium hyaluronate to treat chondromalacia patella, which receives good effects. At present, there are some studies talking about the indications, contraindications and safety of intra-articular sodium hyaluronate, but we need to carry out a large-scale, randomized, controlled clinical study to develop standardized and uniform treatment programs.
