WHAT’S SO GOOD ABOUT PLACEMENT LEARNING?

  • Faux, Dominic
Education for Primary Care 14(2):p 241, May 2003.

There is a lot that is interesting in the medical literature, although it is sometimes difficult to disentangle some of the jargon-laden educational language (what I generally refer to as edu-crap©). The most interesting, for me, was the Slovenian experience of summative assessment, which seems more thorough than that used in the UK. The remainder are a partial and eclectic selection of the breadth of medical education. This is why medical education will continue to be fascinating, and why you’re reading this.
