Well, we have quite a cerebral group this time. Certainly, the use of literature in medicine (identified in the Medical Humanities paper) should be encouraged, although it requires a degree of sophistication in learners that is particularly lacking in those who have a very bio-medical view of medicine. Griffiths et al ’s paper on uncertainty was an enjoyable but reflective read. It seems that we, in general practice, continue to lead in many areas of medical education.
