The 92nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research [New Orleans, US; March 2001] provided an exceptional amount of data on investigational cancer vaccines. The effectiveness of vaccines in patients with a variety of malignancies was reported and important results on the efficacy of cancer vaccines in new patient groups were presented.
