Biological agents promising in plaque psoriasis

Biological agents, such as infliximab and etanercept, have recently emerged as promising treatment options for patients with psoriasis. A presentation at the 66th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) [San Antonio, Texas, US; February 2008] highlighted important developments made in the treatment of psoriasis with these agents, and the potential for these therapies to become mainstays of psoriasis treatment.
